Founder and CEO/CTO of Quansight. Travis Oliphant has 20+ years’ experience in OSS scientific computing as the Creator of NumPy, SciPy, Conda, Numba, and XND and as the Founder of Anaconda (Continuum), NumFOCUS, and PyData. He has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the Mayo Clinic.

Pearu Peterson is a Senior Software Engineer developing XND library for array computing. As Director of Quansight Labs, Ralf Gommers supports, grows and connects open source communities. He has 10+ years’ experience in OSS scientific computing as a driving force behind NumPy, SciPy, and NumFOCUS. He holds a Ph.D. in Physics from University College London.

Prasun is a Chemical Engineer and Biologist turned Scientific Software Engineer. He has been involved with multiple open-source projects aimed at scientific computing with Python, Ruby and Dlang.
