Our Residency Program

Built upon a proven model, Quansight's residency program lets you tap

hidden pools of talent to fill your Data Science and Automation roles.

Talent Shortage

The market for Data Science and Analytics skills is getting more and more competitive. Schools are educating new data scientists but companies are adding data science roles at a much faster rate.  Positions are taking longer to fill and salaries are rising sharply. In this type of market, innovative and non-traditional approaches to filling data science positions are required. Quansight's Residency Program is just such an approach.

New Entrants

Many capable people are entering the data science field from other disciplines that also use heavy data analysis. They come from engineering, physics, finance, medicine and academia. Their past careers have prepared them with many skills valuable to data science roles. They may lack specific skills or industry experience, but Quansight's Residency Program pairs these new entrants with one of our seasoned experts to provide all the skills and experience necessary to fill a position on your team.

How the Program Works

We assess the minimum skills required to fill your open position by discussing with you your needs. We then look for a candidate who has those capabilities or can quickly close any gaps and hire them as a Quansight employee. We pair that candidate with an expert from Quansight or our network who can provide the experienced mentorship to ensure the candidate will succeed. A typical residency lasts 12 to 18 months after which the resident is ready for permanent hire and independent work. At any time after the first three months, if you decide that the resident is ready for full time employment, we can arrange for you to hire them.
